Align is a civic action organization based in Pueblo, Colorado. We work on the unglamorous part of local change — finding where people across a community already agree, then building that agreement broad enough and disciplined enough that institutions have to respond.

Most political energy goes into sharpening disagreement. We think the leverage runs the other way: a coalition that spans a community is far harder to dismiss than one speaking for a faction. Our work moves issue by issue, from how elections are run to how parks get funded to what health coverage costs a family here.

We build locally, because coalitions assembled from outside a community don't hold up under pressure. We endorse candidates based on issues, and are unaffiliated with any political party.
